BPX Grant Participation Confirmation 2026-27 | Louisiana FIRST LEGO League

Welcome to FIRST CANOPY, our 2026-2027 robotics season focused on biodiversity! We have confirmation of BPX funding for next season for FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge teams in North Louisiana located in the parishes where BPX has a footprint!!! Existing teams need to complete the form below to assure that registrations can be processed and equipment ordered. New teams may complete this form, but will need to be approved by FIRST Louisiana Mississippi, Inc. before registrations can be processed to assure that enough funding is available. This funding is restricted to public school teams or community teams supporting public school students.

Also, for orders to be processed, both coaches (FIRST requires 2 coaches) must log into their FIRST dashboard at firstinspires.org and click on MY DASHBOARD in the upper right corner and sign:

the required Consent Form, and
the Youth Protection Program (YPP) Agreement. The YPP training is good for 3 years, so this should just be a signature on a form for returning coaches.

If the team is in someone else’s name and there is a new coach for the team, please contact Annette Oertling to request instructions for assigning a new coach . Do not pay for registration or materials, as FIRST Louisiana Mississippi, Inc. will place those orders.

PD involves 2 Saturdays on Sept 19 and 26 (Session 1) OR on Monday and Tuesday, September 28 and 29 (Session 2).

PD availability
